A creamy, cheesy, and savory slow cooker chicken recipe with ranch seasoning, bacon, and cheddar cheese that delivers melt-in-your-mouth tenderness and irresistible flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 ounce)
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese (about 115g)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: chopped green onions or fresh parsley for garnish
  • Optional: squeeze of fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Cook 6 slices of bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels and crumble once cool.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth and well blended.
  3. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chicken.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon on top. Finish with freshly ground black pepper. Do not stir.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours, or until chicken is fully cooked and tender (internal temperature 165°F).
  6. Use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker. Stir everything together so the sauce coats the chicken evenly.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley if desired.
