This frozen peach daiquiri is icy, creamy, and bursting with real peach flavor. It’s quick and easy to make with just a blender and a bag of frozen fruit, perfect for hot summer days.

  • 3 cups frozen peach slices (about 450g)
  • 4 ounces white rum (about 120ml)
  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice (about 60ml)
  • 12 ounces simple syrup (about 30-60ml)
  • 1 cup ice cubes (about 150g)
  • Optional: fresh peach slices, lime wheels, or mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients: squeeze 2 ounces of fresh lime juice, measure out 4 ounces of white rum, and have your simple syrup ready. If using fresh peaches for garnish, slice them now.
  2. Add the frozen peaches to the blender first.
  3. Pour in the rum, lime juice, and simple syrup. Start with 1 ounce of simple syrup.
  4. Add the ice cubes.
  5. Blend on low speed for about 15 seconds, then increase to high speed and blend for another 30 to 45 seconds until smooth and thick.
  6. Stop and taste. Adjust sweetness with more simple syrup or tartness with more lime juice as needed.
  7. Check the texture: it should be thick but pourable. If too thin, add more frozen fruit or ice; if too thick, add a splash of cold water or rum.
  8. Pour into two hurricane or tumbler glasses.
  9. Garnish with fresh peach slices, lime wheels, or mint sprigs. Serve immediately with a straw.

Notes

Use frozen peaches instead of fresh for best texture and flavor. Don’t over-ice the drink. Balance sweet and sour with lime juice and simple syrup. Blend in stages for a smoother texture. Chill glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes before serving to keep the drink colder longer.
